This Privacy Policy explains what information Sportiko collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Sportiko is a social sports predictions app. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.
Information we collect
Account data: your email address, display name, and authentication provider identifiers (for example, Apple or Google sign-in IDs).
Club and member data: the clubs you create or join, your membership, roles, and related activity.
Gameplay activity: your sports predictions, combos, and your virtual coin ledger activity within the app.
Purchase metadata: when you buy virtual coins, we receive purchase metadata from Apple and our purchases provider (RevenueCat). We do not store raw payment card data.
Support and contact messages: information you send us through contact, support, or data-request forms.
Device and diagnostics: where applicable, basic device, log, diagnostic, and security data used to operate and protect the service.
How we use information
To create and manage your account and clubs.
To operate gameplay, including predictions, combos, live scores, and the virtual coin ledger.
To process and verify virtual coin purchases through the app stores.
To respond to support and privacy requests.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
To improve and troubleshoot the service.
Third-party processors
We use trusted service providers to operate Sportiko, which may process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), AWS (infrastructure), Vercel (website hosting), RevenueCat and Apple/Google (purchases and app distribution), Apple and Google sign-in (authentication), and Resend (transactional email). Analytics providers are used only if and when configured.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the processors listed above to run the service, or where required by law. Information you choose to share within a club (such as your display name and gameplay) is visible to other members of that club.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We retain certain records as required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
How to exercise your rights
You can request access, export, correction, or deletion of your data from our Privacy Choices and Data Deletion pages, or by emailing support@sportiko.club. If the app allows account creation, account deletion is also available inside the mobile app.
Children
Sportiko is not directed to children under the age required by your local law or our age suitability rating. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version and its update date are always available on this page.
